Grade 6

Dear 6th Grade Families,

We’re excited to announce the Russell Sage JHS 6th/7th Grade Winter Dance Party, happening in the gym on Thursday, December 4th from 3:00–5:00 PM!

🎉 Cost: $25 per student This includes a DJ, photo booth, decorations, pizza, popcorn, water, and more!

For 6th Graders: If your child would like to join us for an afternoon of fun, music, and socializing with friends, please submit payment and the permission slip as soon as possible.

🗓️ Deadline: Monday, December 2nd, 2025

Payments must be made by cash or money order (no personal checks) made out to Russell Sage JHS 190. Please place payment and the signed permission slip in a sealed envelope labeled with your child’s first and last name and class.

📍 Payments should be handed to Ms. Buehre during morning entry in the lobby. 📄 Permission slips are available in Room 306 (Ms. Malizia). 🧾 A receipt will be issued for each payment—please keep it for your records.

💡 Any extra or unused funds will go toward activities for the Class of 2028.

Important Reminders:

• Deadlines are final—no exceptions will be made, especially for out-of-building events.
• 6th grade activities are a privilege, not a right. Students may be excluded if they:
  • Violate the NYC DOE Code of Conduct or Russell Sage JHS rules
  • Fail coursework or do not meet academic standards
  • Have multiple class or school latenesses
  • Have excessive absences
